We kept waiting for dry weather and then as soon as it got dry, it seemed to hot to stain! We also have a bunch of hardware we need to deal with - completely caked with old (probably lead) paint. We keep hearing cooking it overnight in a crock pot is the way to go. If only I could remember to head to Goodwill to look for a used crock pot! Thanks Dawn! :-)
