Family room’s first coat
Written by julio on September 21st, 2008Some progress today, with the first coat of paint in the family room, which is Chloe’s old bedroom. Although the reflected light makes the ceiling look as though it’s the same color as the walls, it’s actually much lighter and completely different. I’ve taken the next week and half off to work on the house, so look for more progress soon!

Reminds me of our kitchen walls, but warmer. It’s so happy and cozy. I like it.

Thanks, ladies! We actually chose this color to match fabric I’ll be making curtains with, but if you are curious about the actual color name, it is “Golden Gate” (SW2201) by Sherwin Williams.
Weirdly enough, although it is a different color, the paint on the Golden Gate Bridge is actually Sherwin Williams paint too:

Sorry – clearly I am on drugs. Golden Gate is SW7679!
