Hmmmmm…..

Written by stephanie on March 23rd, 2009

Sorry we’ve been so quiet lately - we’re suffering a blog-deadly combo of work-overload and renovation fatigue, leaving us without much to report here at the bungalow.

White and Black Damask

I should, however, admit that I really blew it with the playroom.  I took so long trying to make a decision on the playroom rug that the one I’d finally decided on – the black and white damask with the black border – has been discontinued.  Serves me right for being so wish-washy!

The rug hunt continues…

I never purchased it. I waited too long to make a decision and then it was sold out. We bought a black wool rug with white swirls from Overstock.com instead.

Stephanie, I love your designs! I was wondering if you could share where you got your playroom benches and letters for the wall from?

The benches came from Linens and Things. I found the letters on eBay. They have lots on etsy as well.

Love the playroom! Two questions: Where did you get your girls letters and the framed picture, did you have a professional? We are in the process of creating a playroom for our 21month old.
    Thanks,
    Vicki

    Hi Vicki,

Thank you! I purchased the letters about four years ago. I found them on eBay. This was before etsy.com had really taken off. It seems like etsy might be an even better bet than eBay these days.

As for the photos, yes, we did use a professional photographer. Her name is Kim Campbell and she owns Campbell Salgado Studio. I’m not sure which part of the country you live in, but if you are in the Northeast rather than the Northwest, another photographer I love is Arianna Falerni.

Good luck with your playroom! I would love to see a photo when you’re done!
