I designed the scaffolding myself, but I only needed a platform that can vary between 6 and 9' high. I would probably break down and rent for 2.5 stories, because the steel scaffolds can be built up and torn down much more easily than wood. I'm already having to repaint part of our porch and it seems like just yesterday we stripped and painted it (it was more like 7 years ago but the paint had a 20-year guarantee.)Did you make up your own plans for the scaffolding or buy plans?
